Hong Kong: Preparations for the 26th Congress of AIPS Asia are complete in Hong Kong Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Sports Press Association has completed preparations for the 26th Congress of AIPS Asia, which will be held for the first time in the history of Hong Kong. Out of the 30 member countries, 28 members are expected to participate in the Congress.
The Congress has been held at a five-star hotel in the city center where excellent arrangements have been made for the participants of the Congress. The opening ceremony before the Congress will be held on the morning of June 30 at the same hotel, which will be addressed by AIPS President Gianni Merlo, AIPS Asia President He Dun Jung, government figures and people from various fields.
A colorful program has been arranged on the occasion. The Legends of AIPS Asia ceremony will be held on the same evening, in which awards will be presented to the most senior sports journalists from different countries who have dedicated their entire lives to sports journalism.
The congress session to be held on July 1 will review various issues, especially measures for the development and promotion of sports journalism in Asia. The meeting will also select the city for the congress to be held in 2026.
