Staff Report

ISLAMABAD: Member of the Elder Council of Islamabad State Agents Association and Chairman of the Overseas Committee of ICCI, Chaudhry Nawaz Basra, while addressing a ceremony held in connection with Kashmir Black Day (27th October), said that the Indian atrocities against unarmed Kashmiris are a dark chapter in history. Since the illegal occupation, the people of Kashmir have been subjected to unbearable human rights violations and coercive actions.

He strongly condemned the extrajudicial killings, enforced disappearances, and brutal use of pellet guns by Indian forces against innocent Kashmiris. He said that all our sympathies and moral support are with our Kashmiri brothers and sisters who have been facing Indian oppression for decades.

Nawaz Basra urged the international community, the United Nations, and human rights organizations to take notice of Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir and play their role in finding a peaceful and just solution to this long-standing dispute.
