DHAKA: The fourth batch comprising nine Bangladeshi students departed for Pakistan today from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka, under the second phase of the Allama Muhammad Iqbal Scholarships Programme.
Deputy High Commissioner Muhammad Wasif saw off the students at the airport and conveyed his best wishes for their studies in Pakistan.
The scholarships programme aims to strengthen educational and people-to-people ties between Pakistan and Bangladesh by providing Bangladeshi students opportunities to pursue higher education in Pakistani institutions.
