MONTREAL: Consul General Faisal Abro held a meeting with President of the International Federation of Air Line Pilots’ Associations (IFALPA), Captain Ron Hay, who travelled from the United States to Montreal to meet the Consul General and discuss avenues of cooperation between Pakistan and IFALPA.
The meeting focused on strengthening institutional ties, enhancing professional collaboration and exploring specialized training and capacity-building programmes for Pakistani pilots.
Particular emphasis was placed on improving flight safety, strengthening operational standards and equipping Pakistani pilots with knowledge, skills and international best practices to meet evolving global aviation standards.
The meeting marked a constructive step towards closer cooperation between Pakistan’s aviation community and IFALPA, with a shared focus on professional excellence, pilot development and promoting a stronger safety culture in Pakistan’s aviation sector.
