PESHAWAR: The 4th All Pakistan Junior Squash Championship, organized by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Squash Association with the support of Extreme Labs, concluded successfully.

In the boys’ categories, Anas Rafi and Ayan Mehboob won titles in their respective divisions, while Mahwish Ali claimed the Girls Under-19 championship.

The chief guest at the final ceremony was businessman Nauman Khan. Squash legend and former world champion Qamar Zaman, Group Captain Irfan Asghar (Director Academy Pakistan Squash Federation), Wazir Muhammad (Finance Secretary KP Squash Association), Sher Bahadur (Executive Member KP Squash Association), senior coach and chief organizer Munawar Zaman were also present on the occasion.

In the Girls Under-19 final, WAPDA’s Mahwish Ali defeated Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Sehrish Ali by 11-9, 11-5, 9-11, 11-4.

In the Boys Under-11 final, PAF’s Anas Rafi beat fellow PAF player Sameer Khan by 11-8, 8-11, 11-7, 11-4, 11-9.

In the Under-13 final, PAF’s Ayan Mehboob defeated Punjab’s Mustafa Khan by 3-11, 11-7, 11-8, 11-7.

In the Under-17 final, Army’s Azan Ali Khan overcame PAF’s Yahya Asad Khan by 13-11, 10-12, 11-8, 11-8, 15-13 to win the title.
