KOHAT: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Aftab Alam Advocate, accompanied by Chairman Tehsil Gumbat Sajid Iqbal, visited the Gandiali Dam in Kohat, where he announced the establishment of a modern recreational park at the dam site.
The Minister said that this project will not only provide entertainment for the public but will also play a vital role in boosting tourism, strengthening the local economy, and enhancing community welfare. He added that Gandiali Dam holds special significance due to its natural beauty, serene environment, and clean atmosphere. With the construction of the park, the area will offer recreational facilities for local residents and attract tourists from surrounding areas.
Aftab Alam further maintained that the project will create opportunities for healthy recreational activities while also providing picnic spots for families, children, and youth.
The locals, while warmly welcoming the announcement, expressed their hope that the project would usher in a new era of progress and prosperity in the region.
Meanwhile, the Law Minister also inaugurated the JMS Forex Institute at KDA, Kohat. The inauguration ceremony was attended by a large number of educationists, business community members, students, and youth.
In his address, the Minister said:
“Our youth are talented, and if they are provided with modern educational and practical opportunities, they can not only improve their own lives but also contribute significantly to strengthening the national economy. JMS Forex Institute will open a new chapter of financial education for young people.”
