PESHAWAR: The Directorate of Youth Affairs, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has successfully concluded a three-week Youth Skill Development Programme for youth from Mohmand and Waziristan, equipping them with professional communication, mass media and artificial intelligence skills.
The closing ceremony was held in Peshawar with enthusiasm and participation of officials of the Directorate of Youth Affairs.
The programme featured two specialised courses: Professional Communication Skills and Mass Media, and Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI), aimed at enhancing the professional capabilities of young people and preparing them for emerging career opportunities.
Director of Arfa Karim Technology Incubator, Peshawar Campus, Waleed Paracha, attended the ceremony as the chief guest. He appreciated the participants’ performance and encouraged them to adapt to the changing demands of the modern era.
He emphasised that young people should make the most of such training opportunities, noting that economic and professional independence are essential to their empowerment and future progress.
Assistant Director Budget and Accounts, Directorate of Youth Affairs, Rooh-ul-Amin, also addressed the participants. He stressed the importance of mastering communication skills and adopting artificial intelligence and modern digital platforms professionally to enhance their career prospects.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates among 100 students who successfully completed the programme.
