FAISALABAD: Victims of an alleged fake visa scam involving Kyrgyzstan have called for immediate action against those responsible, claiming that the suspected elements behind the fraud remain at large even after three years.
The affected families have appealed to the Director General of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), the President of Pakistan, the Prime Minister, and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir to take immediate notice of the matter and order a transparent investigation.
According to the victims, dozens of families have suffered severe financial difficulties as a result of the alleged scam, with approximately Rs15 million reportedly taken from them collectively.
The victims have demanded that the alleged perpetrators be identified and brought to justice, while efforts should also be made to recover the money allegedly taken from the affected families.
