KARACHI: Mastercard and The Bank of Punjab (BOP) have expanded their strategic collaboration to accelerate Pakistan’s transition towards a cashless and digitally inclusive economy.
Senior officials from both organizations met in Karachi to discuss enhancing cooperation in digital payments, financial inclusion, transit payments, government disbursements, and cross-border remittances. They also reviewed the success of Mastercard-enabled initiatives, including the CM Punjab Asaan Karobar Card, Kissan Card, Livestock Card, and Ramzan Nigehban Programme.
Both organizations reaffirmed their commitment to promoting secure digital payment solutions and supporting Pakistan’s digital transformation through innovative financial services and modern payment technologies.
