PESHAWAR : Muhammad Noman Marwat has assumed charge as Divisional Executive Engineer of Pakistan Railways Peshawar Division. After taking charge, he held a meeting with the concerned officers and staff and reviewed engineering-related matters, ongoing development and repair works, and the overall condition of railway infrastructure in the division.
Muhammad Noman Marwat issued special directives to officers and employees, instructing them to ensure timely maintenance and repair of railway tracks, bridges, stations and other installations. He also directed that immediate action be taken in case of any technical fault or problem.
He stressed the need to protect valuable railway assets, maintain quality and transparency in engineering matters, and avoid negligence in the performance of official duties. He said all available resources should be utilized to provide passengers with safe and improved travel facilities.
The newly appointed Divisional Executive Engineer directed officers to ensure that ongoing development and repair projects are completed on time and according to the required standards. He also instructed them to regularly monitor the performance of field staff.
Muhammad Noman Marwat made it clear that negligence in railway engineering matters would not be tolerated and directed all officers and employees to perform their responsibilities with professionalism, mutual cooperation and a strong sense of responsibility.
On the occasion, the concerned officers also briefed him on ongoing engineering activities and various projects in Peshawar Division. Muhammad Noman Marwat directed the officers and staff to utilize their full capabilities to improve railway infrastructure and make the system more efficient.
