PESHAWAR: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Thursday welcomed the launch of South Air’s direct flights between Peshawar and Quetta, describing it as good news for the people of Peshawar and the province.

In a video message, the Governor said that, on his request, South Air would commence direct flights from Peshawar to Quetta from September 19, providing improved air connectivity for passengers.

He said that direct flights from Peshawar to Lahore would also be launched soon, further expanding travel facilities for the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Governor Kundi thanked the management of South Air for accepting his request and initiating the Peshawar-Quetta service for the convenience of the public.

He also announced that another new airline would soon begin operations with international flight services, which would further enhance travel opportunities for the people of Peshawar and the province.
