Rawalpindi: No-confidence motion against Punjab Bodybuilding Association President Naeem Akhtar wins by a landslide. Naeem Akhtar removed from post of president. The meeting of the Punjab Bodybuilding Association was held at Yahya Sports Office, in which, apart from the office bearers, the presidents and secretaries of all divisions affiliated with the Punjab Bodybuilding Association and the members of the General Council participated in full. In the meeting, Mir Shafiq Awan presented a resolution against Naeem Akhtar, President of the Bodybuilding Association. Secretary General Nabeel Ahmed conducted a vote on the no-confidence motion from the house and all members of the General Council passed the no-confidence motion with a majority vote and Naeem Akhtar was removed from office. According to the association members, Naeem Akhtar had called an unconstitutional meeting and made unconstitutional decisions in the presence of representatives of parallel associations from all over Punjab, upon which all members of the General Council of the Punjab Bodybuilding Association rejected the aforementioned unconstitutional meeting. After the meeting, all the members went to the DG Sports Board office and submitted all the proceedings of the meeting and appealed to the DG Sports Board to take legal action against the former president as soon as possible.
