ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Interior has rejected speculative reports circulating in sections of the media and social media regarding alleged targeted deportations of Pakistani nationals from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), terming such claims malicious propaganda.
In a statement, the ministry clarified that no country-specific or sect-based deportations are being carried out by the UAE or any other friendly country. It stated that deportations, if any, are part of routine legal procedures related to violations of host country laws, visa conditions, overstay, or illegal documentation.
The ministry further said that Pakistani nationals who fulfill visa and employment requirements continue to travel and obtain work visas for the UAE and other friendly countries without discrimination.
The statement added that misleading reports and fabricated social media posts are being spread with ulterior motives, while any issue concerning Pakistani nationals abroad is addressed through established diplomatic and foreign office channels on a case-to-case basis.
