DG Tashfeen Haider: KP’s International Sports Stars to Be Honoured for their Achievements.

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sports Heroes Awards Ceremony is set to take place on July 22 at Nishtar Hall, Peshawar, where current athletes from the province, who have brought laurels to Pakistan at the international level, will be honoured for their achievements.
Sharing details with the media, Director General Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Tashfeen Haider, said that the event is being organized to recognize and encourage the province’s sporting talent. She further stated that Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, will attend the ceremony as the Chief Guest, reflecting the government’s strong commitment to supporting sports in the province.
Director Operations Jamshed Baloch was also present at the media briefing. Tashfeen Haider explained that during the ceremony, medal winners of the KP Under-21 Games will be awarded scholarships, as previously announced by Provincial Sports Minister Syed Fakhar Jahan. In addition, monthly scholarship cheques will be distributed among the medalists of the Quaid-e-Azam Games, further motivating young athletes to excel.
“The purpose of the Sports Heroes Awards is to recognize the hard work and dedication of our athletes and to inspire the younger generation to pursue excellence in sports,” said DG Sports Tashfeen Haider.
