DHAKA: President of the Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA) Mohammad Hatem received Pakistan High Commissioner Imran Haider at the BKMEA office in Dhaka on Saturday for a bilateral meeting.
Several BKMEA directors also attended the meeting. Discussions focused on implementing activities under the MoU between BKMEA and the Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PHMA), as well as arranging joint business-to-business meetings.
Mohammad Hatem invited Pakistani companies to participate in the upcoming Bangladesh International Textile, Knitting and Garment Industry Exhibition, scheduled to be held in Dhaka in January 2027.
The initiative aims to strengthen supply-chain linkages and promote greater business cooperation between Pakistan and Bangladesh.
High Commissioner Imran Haider assured the BKMEA President of Pakistan’s full cooperation in promoting bilateral trade and commercial collaboration.
