MALAYSIA: The Pakistan Taekwondo team from Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, achieved record success at the ongoing MBW International Taekwondo Championship, winning 7 Gold, 6 Silver, and 8 Bronze medals, marking the country’s best-ever performance in an international event.
Among the standout performers:
•Vanya: Gold (Karugi), Silver (Freestyle Karugi), Bronze (Freestyle Karugi)
•Ayan: Gold (Karugi), Silver (Pair Karugi)
•Muhammad Mustafa Afridi: Gold (Karugi), Bronze (Pair Karugi)
•Umaima Karugi: Gold (Pair Karugi), Silver (Pair Karugi)
•Hisham Karugi: Gold (Individual Karugi), Silver (Pair Karugi), Bronze (Pair Karugi)
