PESHAWAR: Pakistan delivered an impressive performance at the 7th F-Class World Championship in Bisley, UK, winning the individual F-Class world title and finishing runner-up in the team event.
The championship featured 207 top long-range shooters from 24 countries. Lt Col Junaid Ali won the individual F-Class world title after an outstanding campaign, securing three gold, one silver and one bronze medal.
Pakistan’s 12-member team collected four gold, four silver and five bronze medals in individual events, earning the highest number of FTR medals at the championship. Sepoy Muhammad Waleed and Huzaifa Gul also made notable contributions, while several Pakistani shooters finished among the top 100.

In the team event, held over 800, 900 and 1,000 yards, Pakistan secured the silver medal after a closely contested competition involving teams from 11 countries.
The achievement marks a major milestone for Pakistan, which has emerged as a strong force in international F-Class shooting within just three years.
