PESHAWAR: Peshawar Electric Supply Company arranged a welcome ceremony for its newly appointed Chief Internal Auditor, PESCO, Zahida Rafiq, and Chief Supply Chain Management Officer, PESCO, Saeed Ullah Khan Khattak.
Chief Executive Officer PESCO, Engr. Akhtar Hamid Khan, along with the senior management of PESCO, warmly welcomed the newly appointed senior executives and expressed their best wishes for them.
Zahida Rafiq, appointed as Chief Internal Auditor PESCO, brings vast professional experience in the field of audit. She has served with renowned organizations, including the United Nations and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan.
Similarly, Saeed Ullah Khan Khattak, appointed as Chief Supply Chain Management Officer PESCO, has remarkable professional experience with esteemed organizations, including the World Bank, Asian Development Bank and PEDO.
Speaking on the occasion, CEO PESCO Engr. Akhtar Hamid Khan assured the newly appointed officers of his full support and cooperation. He expressed hope that their extensive experience, professional expertise and skills would contribute significantly to improving PESCO’s performance and service delivery.
The CEO PESCO further stated that the PESCO Board of Directors had taken a keen interest in appointing the most suitable and competent professionals for these important positions and ensured that the appointments were made purely on merit.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, PESCO management presented honorary shields and flower bouquets to Zahida Rafiq and Saeed Ullah Khan Khattak as a gesture of welcome and appreciation.
