PESHAWAR: The Central Youth Parliament’s central secretariat was formally inaugurated at Khyber Supermarket, Peshawar Cantonment, to promote youth empowerment, education, skills development and employment opportunities.
The ceremony was attended by political, social and business personalities, including Haji Arif Yousaf Advocate, Hakim Muhammad Ibrahim Qasmi, Imtiaz Ahmed Tanoli and Chairman Central Youth Parliament Jawad Zaman.
Addressing the gathering, Jawad Zaman said the secretariat would provide young people with a platform to raise their concerns, develop leadership skills and connect with relevant institutions. He said initiatives were also being planned to promote employment and economic empowerment, including opportunities for Qaris graduating from religious seminaries.
Speakers stressed the need for collective efforts to address youth unemployment and expand opportunities in education, entrepreneurship, technology and skills development.
