PROVINCE REPORT

PESHAWAR: The leadership of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has appointed young political leader Malik Tayyab Awan as the District President of the Peoples Youth Organization (PYO), Abbottabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to party sources, the appointment is part of the PPP’s efforts to further strengthen the party organization in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, unite young workers, and provide them with greater opportunities to play an active role in the political process.

Sources said Malik Tayyab Awan has remained actively associated with the party, particularly its youth wing, for a considerable period, making him a suitable choice for this important responsibility.
The announcement of his appointment was warmly welcomed by party workers, especially young supporters in Abbottabad.

Senior leaders and workers expressed confidence that under his leadership, the Peoples Youth Organization in Abbottabad would become more organized, active, and effective.

In his statement, Malik Tayyab Awan thanked the party leadership for placing its trust in him and said:
“I will make every possible effort to live up to the confidence reposed in me by the party leadership.
Our foremost priority will be to become a strong voice for the rights of young people, encourage their participation in politics, and take the democratic vision of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, Quaid-e-Awam Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, and the party’s manifesto to every household.”

Political and social circles have also congratulated Malik Tayyab Awan on his new role and expressed hope that his leadership will bring fresh momentum to youth political activities in Abbottabad.
Meanwhile, some party workers voiced concerns over the lack of coordination within the district organization.
They said that if effective communication and consultation are not ensured following the formation of the new district setup, it could negatively affect the party.
According to the workers, close coordination between the youth leadership and the district organization is essential to effectively advance PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s vision of empowering youth leadership.
Party workers also urged the leadership to resolve organizational differences through mutual consultation and keep the youth united so that the Pakistan Peoples Party can emerge stronger and better organized in Abbottabad.
