Dera Ismail Khan: On the directives of Secretary RTA Dera, Shaukat Iqbal, the RTA monitoring team has been actively inspecting passenger vehicles across various routes and bus terminals to curb overcharging and overloading during Eid-ul-Fitr.
During the rush period, the availability of transport was ensured for passengers. Overcharged fares were refunded on the spot, while vehicles violating regulations were fined by the Traffic Police.
RTA staff remained present at bus terminals for routes including Dera to Tank, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Lahore, and other districts to address complaints promptly. The RTA complaint cell is operational 24/7, and the monitoring process will continue.
