ISLAMABAD: Russian Ambassador to Pakistan Albert P. Khorev participated in a meeting of Ambassadors of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) member states hosted by Pakistan’s National Coordinator for the SCO, Dr. Muhammad Faisal.
The meeting focused on organisational matters related to Pakistan’s upcoming chairmanship of the SCO.
Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador Khorev said the SCO remains one of the key priorities of Russia’s foreign policy. He stressed the importance of advancing practical initiatives in finance, investment, technology, industrial cooperation, the digital economy, transportation and energy.
Ambassador Khorev wished Pakistan success in its upcoming SCO chairmanship and reaffirmed Russia’s commitment to constructive cooperation within the organisation.
