MISSISSAUGA: High Commissioner Muhammad Saleem inaugurated the Sadequain Art Exhibition in Mississauga, Canada, today to celebrate the enduring legacy of Syed Sadequain Ahmed Naqvi, one of Pakistan’s most distinguished artistic visionaries.

Organized by the Sadequain Foundation in collaboration with local hosts and media partners, the exhibition highlights the profound depth, symbolism, and cultural resonance embedded in his invaluable body of work.

The three-day event is expected to attract a diverse audience, including art and calligraphy enthusiasts, media representatives, civil society members, and students from the Aga Khan Foundation Academy Toronto and other institutions. Visitors are being offered a rare opportunity to experience Sadequain’s extraordinary artistic expression through Islamic calligraphy, paintings, drawings, murals, and Urdu poetry, while reflecting on Pakistan’s significant contribution to the global art and cultural landscape.

Adding intellectual depth to the event, noted Pakistani scholar and poet Ashfaq Hussain will share insights into Sadequain’s multifaceted legacy, highlighting his remarkable contributions to visual art, literature, and scholarship.
