Federal Secretary Mohiuddin Wani inaugurates colourful opening ceremony

ISLAMABAD: Sadia claimed the Deaf Women’s Singles title on the opening day of the Azadi Cup Tenpin Bowling Championship at Leisure City Bowling Club, Safa Gold Mall, F-7 Markaz. Tehmina secured second place, while Zoya finished third.
The colourful opening ceremony was inaugurated by Federal Secretary, Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC), Mohiuddin Wani. Also present were Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation President Ijaz-ur-Rehman, former Secretary General Muhammad Hussain Chatta, and a large number of fans.
In the Deaf Women’s category, Sadia topped the scoreboard with 102 points. Tehmina followed with 87 points, Zoya scored 82, and Asma placed fourth with 76.
The championship features players from across Pakistan, competing in nine categories: Men’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, Ladies’ Singles, Amateur, Deaf Men’s Singles, Deaf Ladies’ Singles, Team Event, Media, and TikTokers.
The finals will take place on August 14, followed by a prize distribution ceremony to honour the winners.
