KARACHI: Pakistan Air Force’s (PAF) talented young squash player Muhammad Sameer has captured the Under-11 title at the Ambassador All Pakistan Junior Squash Championship 2025, displaying remarkable skill, confidence, and composure throughout the tournament. In the final match held in Karachi, Sameer outclassed Anees Rafi by three games to one (3-1) to lift the championship trophy. Demonstrating exceptional fitness, sharp shot selection, and unwavering focus, the young prodigy never allowed his opponent to dominate at any stage of the contest. Earlier, in the semi-final, Sameer defeated the tournament’s second seed Abdul Rehman Riaz to secure his place in the final. His tactical brilliance and command over the game impressed both spectators and coaches alike. Muhammad Sameer regularly trains at the PAF Squash Complex, while also receiving advanced coaching at PSB Coaching Centre Peshawar’s Mohibullah Khan Squash Courts and Qamar Zaman Squash Courts, where he continues to refine his technique and stamina. Sameer’s triumph is a source of pride not only for his coaches and family but also for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa sports community and the Pakistan Air Force. According to squash circles, if he maintains this level of dedication and discipline, Muhammad Sameer could soon emerge as one of Pakistan’s brightest hopes on the international squash stage.
