KOHAT:Secretary Environment, Climate Change, Forests and Wildlife Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shahid Zaman has visited the Tribal District Orakzai. He on this occasion, was accompanied by the Deputy Commissioner Orakzai Muhammad Irfanuddin, Conservator Forests and Wildlife, DFOs Forest and Wildlife Division Orakzai.
Secretary Environment and Climate Change, during his visit inspected various places in Lower Orakzai including Lal Mela, Dara Manikhel, Landoka Top, Zira Park, Zira Nursery and Zira Joint Check Post and reviewed the scope of forests, wildlife and non-timber forest produce there.
He directed the authorities concerned to sternly stop the timber smuggling and take strict action against the timber mafia. He further directed to formulate a feasible plan of action to preserve the existing forests and its further increase in the district.
