PESHAWAR: The National T20 Cup 2026 has entered its final stage, with Karachi Whites, Lahore Whites, Sialkot Region, and Abbottabad qualifying for the semi-finals.

In the final Group B matches played on Monday night at the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium in Peshawar, Sialkot defeated Multan, while Abbottabad secured a convincing victory against Lahore Blues to book their places in the next round. Both Sialkot and Abbottabad finished with six points from four matches each; however, Sialkot topped Group B due to a better net run rate.

In the second match, Sialkot chased down Multan’s target successfully, winning by seven wickets. Batting first, Multan scored 163 runs in 19.5 overs. Captain Imam-ul-Haq played a brilliant innings, scoring 86 runs off 51 balls, including 10 fours and three sixes. Bismillah Khan contributed a quick 23 runs. For Sialkot, Sufyan Muqeem took three wickets, while Usama Mir and Shoaib Akhtar Jr. claimed two wickets each.

In pursuit of the target, Sialkot had a solid start with Mirza Tahir Baig (29) and Khawaja Arham (32) adding 63 runs for the opening partnership. After the dismissal of both openers, the match became competitive. In the final overs, Hassan Nawaz delivered a match-winning performance, scoring an unbeaten 80 runs off just 40 balls. He successfully chased the required 13 runs in the final over, guiding his team to victory with one ball remaining.

Earlier, Abbottabad defeated Lahore Region Blues by eight wickets in a one-sided contest. Lahore Blues were bowled out for just 86 runs. Shadab Khan starred with the ball, taking three wickets for only 10 runs in three overs and was named Player of the Match. Shahab Khan and Arshad Iqbal also took two wickets each.

In response, Abbottabad chased the target comfortably in 8.2 overs, losing only two wickets. Kamran Ghulam scored an unbeaten 46 runs off 23 balls, while Shahzaib Khan contributed a rapid 32-run innings, helping his team secure a dominant win and advance to the semi-finals.
