ISLAMABAD: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi met national fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi in Islamabad, where discussions were held on promoting sports and providing better opportunities to young talent in the province. CEO of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Champion League (KPL) Sohail Kundi was also present.
During the meeting, proposals related to the establishment and expansion of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Champion League were reviewed. Governor Kundi said KP is rich in sporting talent and emphasized the need for modern platforms to help youth showcase their skills at national and international levels. Shaheen Afridi appreciated the initiative, saying that improved facilities and structured leagues would help produce future cricket stars for Pakistan.
