Friendship between Pakistan and China flows through every vein of our nation like molten steel. It is not talk, not ceremonies, not idle promises. It is concrete, it is electricity, it is asphalt, it is fiber. It is present in every highway that stretches across mountains, in every port that hums with trade, in every classroom that illuminates a mind. China has been there in every season, every challenge, every storm. Pakistan says, “Thank you, China, for being a friend in every aspect.”
It is like an empire of trust, and China is brutally honest with its commitment. Since 1951, this friendship has grown into an all-weather partnership. It is tested, it is proven, and it is unwavering. In this empire, roads are arteries, energy is the lifeblood, trade is the pulse, and education is the brain. China invests, China builds, China delivers not occasionally, not partially, but fully.
The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is the spine of this partnership. China poured 25.4 billion dollars into energy, transport, and infrastructure. They added 8,000 megawatts of energy to our grid. They built 510 kilometers of highways and 932 kilometers of roads, connecting cities, towns, and dreams. They laid 820 kilometers of optical fiber, bringing the world to our fingertips. They created more than 192,000 jobs. Every kilowatt, every kilometer, every job, every fiber thread is a statement: Pakistan we are with you.
In energy, China has illuminated our nights and powered our industries. Coal, hydro, solar, and transmission lines, every project fights the darkness of shortage, every project sparks growth. Factories hum, students study under lights, hospitals operate without pause. This is not charity. This is friendship in action.
In trade, China is our largest partner, Pakistan its second-largest in South Asia. Exports from China reached 20.23 billion dollars in 2024, imports from Pakistan rose to 2.82 billion dollars. The Free Trade Agreement opened zero-duty markets for cotton, marble, textiles, sports goods, mangoes, citrus, vegetables, leather, iron, and steel. It is more than commerce. It is an opportunity for farmers, manufacturers, and entrepreneurs. It is a bridge that brings prosperity, not just goods.
Gwadar is not just a port. It is a promise, a vision, a heartbeat of the future. The New Gwadar International Airport, funded by China as a grant, now connects Balochistan to the world. Roads, ports, industrial zones, all signs of a friendship that is both practical and profound.
In crises, China does not step back. During COVID-19, it sent 500,000 doses of Sinopharm, with additional support through Sinovac and CanSino. During the 2022 floods, it pledged 100 million dollars in relief, bringing total assistance to nearly 300 million dollars, alongside technical aid in disaster management. In every emergency, China stands beside Pakistan, not as a distant partner but as a true brother.
Education and knowledge are also pillars. Through the Chinese Government Scholarship Program, 75 scholarships are offered to Pakistani students for 2026–27. Every student in China carries friendship, language, culture, knowledge, and goodwill back home. The next generation of Pakistanis sees the world differently because China believed in them.
This friendship is heavy with hope and light with opportunity. It touches energy, transport, trade, health, disaster relief, education, ports, and people’s lives. It fights stagnation, fuels ambition, and restores confidence. Without it, Pakistan would struggle. With it, Pakistan thrives.
Pakistan says again thank you China. Thank you for building, for believing, for standing, for delivering. Thank you for being more than a friend, for being a brother, a partner, a lifeline. Let this friendship grow. Let it endure. Let it shape the future. Roads, ports, grids, and schools, every brick, every watt, every kilometer carries the message: we move forward together.
The world sees treaties, agreements, and speeches. We see something deeper, a bond that turns ambition into action, friendship into development, and trust into transformation. Pakistan and China, side by side forever, building tomorrow.
