The second round of the President’s Trophy Grade 2, organized by the Pakistan Cricket Board, has begun t verious grounds. On the first day of the second round, Eshal Associates scored 309 runs in the first innings against PHA Rawalpindi at the National Cricket Ground, Islamabad. For Eshal Associates, Asher Mahmood scored a brilliant 141 runs, which included four fours and six sixes. In addition, Sajjad scored 39, Zain bin Farooq scored 30, Ali Hassan Baloch scored 27 and Zahid Bashir remained not out on 23 runs. For PHA, Muhammad Tahir took four wickets while Abrar Ahmed and Fawad Arshad took two wickets each. In reply, the PHA team was bowled out for 239 runs. Muhammad Aamar scored 71 runs and Muhammad Usman scored 68 runs. Zahid Bashir and Muhammad Shan took three wickets each. At the Railway Cricket Stadium, Haripur, the Kingsman Academy team was bowled out for 282 runs against Ahmed Glass. Najab Khan, who hails from Charsadda, scored a brilliant 105 runs. At the Abbottabad ground, the JWD Sugar Mills team was bowled out for 179 runs against MIT Solutions. Nasir Nawaz scored a brilliant 50 runs for JWD. In addition, Sameer Minhas scored 37 and Muhammad Zulkifal scored 36 runs. For MIT Solutions, Khabib Khalil dismissed four and Muhammad Irfan dismissed three players. In reply, the MIT Solutions team scored 242 runs in the first innings and took a lead of 63 runs. Abdullah Shafiq played a brilliant innings of 66 runs.
