MARDAN: The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Mardan and Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen academic cooperation, promote collaborative research and enhance institutional development.

The agreement aims to establish a long-term strategic partnership focused on academic excellence, innovation and knowledge sharing. Under the MoU, both universities will work together on joint research initiatives, faculty and student exchange programmes, capacity-building activities and other mutually beneficial academic ventures.

Officials from the two institutions said the collaboration reflects their shared commitment to advancing higher education and strengthening the research culture in the country. They noted that the partnership will create new opportunities for students and faculty members through collaborative learning, research and professional development.

The MoU also seeks to encourage innovation and institutional growth by facilitating the exchange of expertise, academic resources and best practices. Both universities expressed confidence that the partnership would contribute to the development of quality education and research while addressing emerging academic and societal challenges.
