PESHAWAR: Commissioner Peshawar Division Riaz Khan Mehsud honored rising national cricket star Usman Tariq by presenting him with a special shield at the Commissioner’s Office in recognition of his outstanding performance and for bringing pride to Peshawar at the national level.
On the occasion, renowned first-class cricketers Bilal Marwat and Aslam Qureshi, along with Assistant Commissioner Town Azeemullah Mehsud, were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner Riaz Khan Mehsud praised the talent and dedication of Usman Tariq and expressed hope that the young off-spin bowler would continue to raise the name of Pakistan cricket through his exceptional performances in the future.
He said the honor was not only a proud moment for Usman Tariq but also a motivating message for the youth of Peshawar that hard work, commitment, and determination can help achieve any goal.
