HARIPUR: Today, a high-level delegation from the Federal Judicial Academy Islamabad paid a detailed visit to Central Jail Haripur. The delegation was led by Deputy Director Madam Nadia Syed and Assistant Director Madam Bushra. They were accompanied by Senior Civil Judge Haripur, Mr. Shiraz Tariq.
The delegation was warmly received by the Superintendent of Central Jail Haripur and Acting DIG Hazara Region, Mr. Hamid Azam. On this occasion, the jail administration provided the guests with a comprehensive briefing regarding the prison system, rehabilitation programs, and facilities available to inmates.
After the briefing, the delegation was taken on a tour of various sections of the jail, including the Drug Rehabilitation Center, Video Link Facility, E-Visit System, Women’s Ward, and the Jail Factory. The delegation highly appreciated the initiatives taken by the jail administration for the reform and welfare of the inmates.
At the end of the visit, the delegation extended heartfelt thanks to the jail authorities and commended the facilities being provided to the prisoners.
