Bajaur: Following a complaint lodged by a citizen during the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s open court regarding persistent traffic congestion and illegal encroachments in Inayat Killi Bazaar and the bypass, the district administration of Bajaur has initiated immediate and practical measures.
On the directives of Deputy Commissioner Bajaur, Shahid Ali Khan, a comprehensive strategy was formulated to improve traffic flow and facilitate the public in Inayat Killi Bazaar, the bypass, and Khar Bazaar. Under this plan, it was decided to relocate illegally established car stands at various locations to a newly designated alternative vehicle stand near Inam Market.
In this regard, on the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner (Headquarters) Khar, Dr. Sadiq Ali, supervised a visit to various vehicle stands along with Additional Assistant Commissioner Khar-II Arshad Kamal, Additional Assistant Commissioner Khar-I Muhammad Nisar Khan, Tehsildar Khar, officials of TMA Khar, the Civil Defence Department, Traffic Police, and the local police. During the operation, illegal car stands operating in the Laghray and Maina areas were successfully shifted to the new alternative stand.
Furthermore, a vigorous operation was carried out against encroachments in Inayat Killi Bypass and the bazaar, restoring the right of way on the road and ensuring smooth and uninterrupted movement of traffic.
The administration has also issued strict instructions to the Traffic Police not to allow any kind of illegal parking or unauthorized operations on the main thoroughfare, in order to effectively prevent traffic congestion in the future.
