Peshawar: A solidarity walk was organized at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Commission to protest against the illegal Indian occupation of Occupied Kashmir and to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people. Commissioners, officers, and other employees participated in the walk.
Speaking on the occasion, Acting Chief Commissioner of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Commission, Muhammad Irshad, said that the Kashmiri people have been facing oppression by Indian forces for the past eight decades. He paid rich tribute to the Kashmiri martyrs and stated that their sacrifices would not go in vain but would eventually lead to a revolution.
He further said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Commission reaffirms its principled support for the just struggle of the Kashmiri people for their right to self-determination. He urged the international community to play its effective role in ensuring peace, justice, and respect for human rights in Occupied Kashmir.
