PESHAWAR: The holy month of Ramadan, a time of mercy, forgiveness and compassion, has arrived, and Hamza Foundation Peshawar has appealed to philanthropists and well-wishers to donate their Zakat, Sadaqat and other charities for the treatment of deserving children suffering from life-threatening diseases.

The Foundation stated that hundreds of innocent children battling Thalassemia, Hemophilia and Blood Cancer depend on regular blood transfusions, costly medicines and continuous medical care to survive.

“The silent cry of an innocent child is heart-wrenching. These children endure daily needles, sleepless nights and unbearable pain, while their parents struggle helplessly. Their only hope is the generosity of donors,” the appeal said.

Currently, more than 1,560 children are registered with the Foundation, while 50 to 60 children visit daily for blood transfusions, medicines and meals. Many families, already burdened by poverty, are unable to bear the rising costs of treatment.

The Foundation emphasized that a single donation can provide not just a bag of blood, but a renewed chance at life. It urged citizens to make their Zakat a means of saving precious lives during the blessed month.

Donations can be made to:

Account No: 4-2040
Bank: MCB (Muslim Commercial Bank)
Branch: University Town, Peshawar (0957)
IBAN: PK28 MUCB 0095 7010 1002 0404

The Foundation prayed that Allah Almighty bless the donors’ wealth and accept their contributions as Sadaqah Jariyah.
