ISLAMABAD: The 72nd Japan Self-Defense Forces Day was celebrated with a special ceremony at Serena Hotel, Islamabad, attended by prominent Pakistani and Japanese dignitaries.
Federal Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif attended the event as the chief guest, alongside former Prime Minister and MNA Raja Pervez Ashraf, Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan Akamatsu Shuichi, Mrs. Akamatsu Yumiko, and Col. Toyoda Takeshi, Defence Attaché at the Embassy of Japan.
The distinguished guests, along with other dignitaries, jointly cut a cake to mark the occasion, highlighting the longstanding friendship and cordial relations between Pakistan and Japan.
