PESHAWAR: The Multipurpose Center for Women was inaugurated at the Business Incubation Center (BIC), University of Peshawar, under the Digitalization for Women Economic Empowerment (D4WEE) project with financial support from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).

The ceremony was graced by the Honourable Commissioner Peshawar, Mr. Riaz Mehsud, as Chief Guest. The event was attended by Ms. Eunkyeong Kanj, Country Head of KOICA; Prof. Dr. Naeem Qazi, Pro-Vice Chancellor, University of Peshawar; representatives from TiE Pakistan and the Akhtar Hameed Khan Foundation, Islamabad; along with faculty members and students. Dr. Shakeel Khan, Head of BIC, welcomed the distinguished guests and highlighted the importance of the D4WEE initiative in promoting digital skills and entrepreneurship among women in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Under the theme “Empower Her,” the project aims to provide digital skills training to 6,000 women and girls across the province.

The Honourable Commissioner appreciated the advanced digital equipment provided through KOICA’s support and assured full cooperation from the government to ensure the project’s success.
