ST. PETERSBURG: Pakistan’s top judicial leadership represented the country at the 14th St. Petersburg International Legal Forum (ILF) 2026 in the Russian Federation.
Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi and Chief Justice of the Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan Aminuddin Khan, accompanied by Pakistan’s Ambassador to Russia Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, participated in the prestigious international legal gathering.
During the forum, the Pakistani delegation engaged with judicial representatives and legal experts from various countries on matters related to justice, the rule of law, and international legal cooperation. Their participation underscored Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening judicial dialogue, promoting global legal collaboration, and enhancing institutional engagement between Pakistan and Russia.
The opening day of the conference concluded with a plenary session, where delegates from different countries exchanged views and discussed key legal and judicial issues of mutual interest.
The forum is regarded as one of the world’s leading platforms for legal professionals, policymakers, and judicial authorities to discuss contemporary legal challenges and opportunities for international cooperation.
