Peshawar: Former Nazim and District Member Peshawar, and Senior Central Leader of Pakistan Muslim League (Q), Safdar Khan Baghi, held an important meeting with Deputy Commissioner Peshawar, Captain (R) Sanaullah Khan, at his office.
The meeting was held in a cordial, positive, and constructive atmosphere, during which both sides discussed in detail the key civic issues and public concerns facing the residents of Nothia and its surrounding areas.
On the occasion, Safdar Khan Baghi requested the Deputy Commissioner to hold an open public forum (Khuli Kachehri) in Nothia to directly hear and address the grievances of local residents. He also urged the district administration to take immediate action on the following priority issues:
Immediate construction of a strong reinforced concrete covers over the damaged and hazardous drain near Shahee Kath, adjacent to Shaheed Asif Khan Baghi Park, Nothia. Beautification and improvement of the Nothia Main Road. Repair and rehabilitation of Nothia Bazaar, Talab Road, Railway Line Road, Gulberg, Chamba Pir Road, and District Council Road.
Deputy Commissioner Captain (R) Sanaullah Khan listened attentively to all the issues raised and assured Safdar Khan Baghi that the relevant departments would be directed to initiate the necessary measures and expedite practical solutions.
Speaking after the meeting, Safdar Khan Baghi expressed optimism that, with the cooperation of the district administration, the longstanding issues faced by the people of Nothia would be addressed on a priority basis, leading to improved civic facilities, enhanced urban development, and a better quality of life for local residents.
