PESHAWAR: Shamsad Ihsanullah, a scholar at the Department of Geography and Geomatics, University of Peshawar, has successfully completed his MPhil degree after defending his research thesis.
Titled “An Assessment of the Socio-Economic and Environmental Impacts of the Marble Industry in Peshawar District,” the research examined various aspects of the marble industry, particularly its social and economic impacts and effects on the environment.
The research was supervised by Associate Professor Dr. Ehsanullah, while Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Dawood of the Department of Geography, Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, served as the external examiner.
Following the successful defence, Shamsad Ahmad thanked his research supervisor, examiners and faculty members of the Department of Geography for their guidance and academic support, which he said played an important role in completing his research.
