ISLAMABAD: A high-level multiparty delegation from the Gilgit Baltistan Assembly met with Senator Rubina Khalid, Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), to extend their congratulations on her historic third-term election to the Senate of Pakistan.

During the meeting, the delegation expressed confidence in Senator Rubina Khalid’s leadership and reaffirmed their commitment to working collaboratively to strengthen social protection, poverty alleviation, and sustainable development efforts in Gilgit Baltistan.
The session concluded with mutual assurances of continued cooperation between BISP and regional leadership to uplift the marginalized communities of the region and to ensure inclusive and equitable progress.
