ABBOTTABAD: Two more matches of the Muhammad Parvez Memorial Divisional Football Tournament were decided at Kunj Football Ground, with Hazara Eagle FC Mirpur and People’s Club Havelian securing victories.
In the first match, Hazara Eagle FC Mirpur defeated Youth League FC on penalty kicks after an exciting contest ended 1-1 at the end of regular time.
In the second match, People’s Club Havelian defeated Rehmat United FC Abbottabad by a one-goal margin after a competitive encounter.
The tournament is being organized by Hazara Sarban Football Club. Amir Khan, Aami Adeel Ahmed and Samiullah Khan officiated the matches, while Shaukat Hussain, Faridun Khan and Muhammad Saeed Qureshi performed commentary duties.
Two more matches are scheduled today. Young Shama FC will face Sarban Blue at 3pm, while Al-Shaheed FC Nawanshahr will take on Johnny Friends Bacha at 5pm.
