PESHAWAR: A month-long digital skills training programme concluded at the College of Home Economics, University of Peshawar, with certificates distributed among 25 female students.
The programme was organised under the Aaghaz AYFS Project in collaboration with SRSP, UNFPA and the College of Home Economics.
Dean Faculty of Management and Information Sciences Prof Dr Sajjad Ahmad, who was chief guest, said digital skills, artificial intelligence, freelancing and professional networking were creating new opportunities for youth.
Principal College of Home Economics Prof Dr Shazia Shah stressed the importance of equipping female students with modern technology and practical skills to pursue education, employment, freelancing and entrepreneurship.
During the ceremony, participants shared their experiences and presented business ideas developed during the training. The chief guest later distributed certificates among the 25 successful participants.
