Islamabad : Chairman Standing Committee on Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control has made it clear to the administration of Islamabad that the housing schemes in suburbs of the capital city should be regularised as soon as possible. It is the only solution to this issue.
Here it is mentionable that new Chairman CDA had declared some housing projects as illegal while they were developed by local owners to facilitate the people who seek a plot for their roof on reasonable prices and there is no complaint from any side about these projects.
Raja Khurram Nawaz MNA chaired the meeting of the committee on 10 July at the Parliament House in which Ministers of State for Interior and Law , Justice , Talal Chaudhry, Aqeel Malik, Chairman CDA Sohail Ashraf, Deputy Commissioner Irfan Nawaz Memon were also present.
Chairman CDA briefed the chair that the illegal declared schemes will soon be regularised and for that consultant is being hired. The schemes will be regularised as soon as this work is completed.
MNA Raja Khurram Nawaz mentioned that there is no other solution to this matter than regularising these schemes as they deserve. He also raised the matter of ban on the registry of the properties in Khanna Cock, Khanna Daak, Shakriyal and in other regions.
The Deputy Commissioner assured the chair that the ban is being waived.
Chairman Committee expressed his concern on the dilapidation of Sher Dhammyaal, Gora Mast Bamtrar Kirpa Road. He said people are suffering due to non construction of the roads.
Chairman CDA apprised the committee that funds are awaited for this project. The construction would start as soon as the funds are available.
