ISLAMABAD: Iqra University Business School (IUBS), H-9 Campus, hosted a welcome dinner for participants of the 13th NBEAC Deans & Directors Conference 2026, bringing together deans, directors, researchers, and academic leaders from business schools across Pakistan.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Muhammad Azam, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, welcomed the delegates and highlighted the university’s commitment to academic excellence and leadership development. He also acknowledged Iqra University’s strong performance in the QS Asia Rankings 2026 and thanked the National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC) for organizing the conference.
The conference, themed “Business Schools in the AI Era,” focuses on the growing impact of Artificial Intelligence on business education, research, and workforce development. Prof. Dr. Etazaz Ahmed and Dr. Sajid Bashir emphasized the need for collaboration and curriculum innovation to prepare graduates for a rapidly evolving digital economy.
The event featured a presentation on Iqra University’s achievements, the presentation of commemorative shields to distinguished guests, a campus tour, and a networking dinner. The welcome ceremony marked the beginning of two days of discussions aimed at strengthening business education and fostering innovation across Pakistan’s higher education sector.
