RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Navy Investiture Ceremony 2026 was held at Bahria Auditorium, Karachi, where military awards were conferred on naval personnel in recognition of their meritorious services in the line of duty.
The ceremony was graced by Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf as the Chief Guest, who conferred various honours on officers, Chief Petty Officers, sailors, and Navy civilians, according to statement of military media wing here.
During the ceremony, Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military) was awarded to 18 officers of the Pakistan Navy, while 11 officers received the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Military).
In addition, 33 awards of Tamgha-i-Khidmat (Military)-I, 82 awards of Tamgha-i-Khidmat (Military)-II, and 69 awards of Tamgha-i-Khidmat (Military)-III were conferred upon Chief Petty Officers and sailors of the Pakistan Navy.
Furthermore, Letters of Commendation from the Chief of the Naval Staff were awarded to 51 officers, Chief Petty Officers/sailors, and Navy civilians in recognition of their distinguished services.
The ceremony was attended by a large number of senior serving and retired officers of the armed forces as well as the families of the awardees.
