ISLAMABAD: The International Organization for Migration and Pakistan’s Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation for safe, regular and orderly migration from Pakistan.
During her visit to Pakistan, SungAh Lee met with Chaudhry Salik Hussain to discuss expanding collaboration in labour mobility and migration management.
The discussions focused on promoting regular migration pathways and enhancing labour mobility opportunities for Pakistani workers abroad. Both sides acknowledged the progress achieved through ongoing cooperation and expressed commitment to further strengthening joint efforts in the sector.

Pakistan remains among the Asian countries with a significant number of labour migrants working overseas, while the IOM continues to support the government and international partners in ensuring safe migration practices and protection of migrant workers.
