Bajaur: A stakeholders’ consultative workshop was organized by the Pakistan Red Crescent Society, District Bajaur Branch, under the Restoring Family Links (RFL) Programme, focusing on restoring family contacts, reconnecting separated individuals with their loved ones, and strengthening coordination among relevant institutions.
The workshop was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Finance Saeedullah, Red Crescent Secretary for the Merged Districts Shahid, District Secretary Javed, along with representatives of various institutions and other stakeholders.
Participants were briefed on the objectives of the Restoring Family Links Programme, including tracing people separated from their families, restoring communication between separated family members, and providing humanitarian assistance to families in need.
The participants emphasized that effective coordination among relevant institutions is essential to reach individuals and families who have lost contact with their loved ones due to various circumstances and to facilitate the restoration of family links.
The participants appreciated the humanitarian efforts being carried out under the programme and expressed their commitment to further strengthening mutual cooperation to restore family contacts and help separated individuals reconnect with their loved ones in Bajaur
