ISLAMABAD: The U.S. Embassy in Islamabad has highlighted the growing momentum in Pakistan-U.S. relations, stating that American congressmen and business leaders recently visited Islamabad and Lahore to explore opportunities for expanding bilateral cooperation.
According to the embassy, senior officials also discussed shared security priorities during the U.S.-Pakistan Counterterrorism Dialogue held in Washington.
The embassy said the recent engagements reflected the continued strengthening of cooperation between the two countries in economic, business, and security sectors.
The statement further noted that Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker participated in a weekend golf tournament marking 250 years of American independence and celebrating decades of friendship between Pakistan and the United States.
The embassy described the recent months as a period of active diplomatic engagement and growing partnership between the two nations.
